How To Participate
If a family so chooses, they can send an e-mail (please include the name of the orphanage of interest) requesting that Asia Threads send them instructions when these instructions become available for that particular project.

These projects are open to ALL families who have adopted from China-regardless of country of residence, however, instructions are available only in the English language.

Families are given at least 6 weeks or more to submit paperwork after they receive instructions. The cut-off date is shown in these instructions. The 'start' date of a project is actually when all paperwork for participating families has been received, the cut-off date has passed, and an adequate number of families have chosen to participate. The 'adequate number of families' depends on several factors such as the locations of the 'orphanage cities', amount and ease/difficulty of travel, proximity of each orphanage in relation to other orphanages in the project, etc. As each project is different, Asia Threads will make the determination if a project is a 'go' or if it needs to be delayed. This decision will be made after the cut-off date when all paperwork has been received.

Approximate Project Completion Time Frames:
All Projects = Approximately 9 months after the 'start' date defined above.

Asia Threads owns all copy/reproduction/distribution rights for photographs which families are NOT given the negatives. These photos will be marked 'copyright' on the face of the photo. As such, they may not be copied/reproduced/distributed, they may not be placed on any web-site or e-group, nor are they allowed to be placed in books (including e-books) not private/personal to the family.

Pictures will not be e-mailed to participants.
